FORM & THEMES – my artistic vision
I’m drawn to write about identity because it is inescapable, unrelenting and contradictory in its power to both unite and divide, clarify and obscure, progress and revert. These tensions ensure dramatic conflict in a perpetual motion of compellingly dramatic, comic and tragic stories.
Contemporary relationships and themes explored through historical re-imaginings
British settings, thrillers, drama, comedies, strong narratives for bold characters
Comedy with a social conscience, entertaining and intelligent
Contemporary drama examining the conflict between who we think we are and who we really are
Contemporary themes in classic form, as epic ballads in rhyming couplets
Short, sharp, and furious
